We’re all time travelers in the worst way. We revisit regrets more than memories.

If only, someone robbed us of our ability to conjure'If only' and 'what ifs' and we could hold one moment without hesitation and own it completely, it would be more sacred than a thousand rewinds of almost.

This is such a profound observation and it's going to stay with me for a long time. It reminds me of what Anne Frank wrote in her diary: Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude.

This was really a beautiful piece. I haven't read 'Before the coffee gets cold' yet, but it's in my to be read list and this whole article just made me feel like wanting to read it even more. And the nested, it's really beautiful and the meaning behind it..uff..it stole my heart. Loved it. Keep going. And yeah the concept of the book seems really amazing. Would definitely give it a try soon.

The explanation of nested and its similarity with the novel...the lines in which you have described it...these lines felt like a warm hug...a warm coffee...as you wrote in the article.."you might be in mid thought , mid cup" Your article was like a warm cup of coffee and and it brought so many thoughts inside me...
